Samba adoptée chatonne en 2015 est de retour à l’association, sa maîtresse est partie en EHPAD.
Bien que testée FIV négatif quand elle était petite, elle a été retestée positif à son arrivée en avril.
Double peine pour cette adorable minette qui ne comprend pas ce qu’elle fait là. Elle a besoin de retrouver un foyer de toute urgence. Nous espérons qu’une belle âme lui ouvrira son coeur.
Elle vivait en maison, avec une autre minette, mais ne sortait pas beaucoup.
Samba est positive au FIV. Elle n’est pas malade : le virus dans son organisme est en sommeil et peut le rester très longtemps. Si toutefois la maladie se déclenche un jour, l’association pourra, sous certaines conditions, participer à la prise en charge des frais vétérinaires.
Le virus ne se transmet pas aux humains, mais uniquement entre chats par morsure profonde (de la salive jusqu’au sang). Quand ils sont stérilisés et non bagarreurs, le risque est quasiment nul.
